The front-end developer internship at Diagonal is geared to guide software engineers with software development process while developing scalable web applications utilizing Facebook’s popular ReactJS library, utilizing the power of a virtual DOM to create fast, fluid user interfaces.

What are the basic prerequisites?

  • Basics of Internet - What is HTTP/HTTPS, how does it work? What are browsers and how do they work?
  • Basics of HTML - Syntax, Elements, Forms and validation
  • Basics of CSS - How it is structured, how does CSS works, CSS building blocks, and CSS layout.
  • Basics of JavaScript - Syntax to ES6+, DOM Manipulation, Events, Ajax and Promises
  • Basics of Git - What is git, and why it's purpose, basic commands: status, log, pull, push.
  • Good concept of OOP (we will move into Typescript)
  • Aptitude to learn: All the interns must possess a will to learn, and we will make sure you reach your targeted goal as well.
  • Personal laptop: Diagonal Technologies does not provide laptops/PCs for interns to use, therefore you must bring your own to work.
